Build your own esports arena in MLBB

Train like a pro during your own tournament nights.

Watching Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports feels intense because every phase of the match brings high drama. You can replicate that tournament feeling in your own games by changing how you approach drafts, lanes, objectives and post-match habits. Maybe you even start training to join community tournaments or play in an esports club. Here’s how!

Set the vibe before the match

Try turning a normal 5v5 into a fun match night so everyone plays with intent rather than being on autopilot.

  • Give the match a name and keep the same teams for a small series.
  • Decide a Blue side and a Red side before draft.

Try this: Create a temporary room name such as Finals Night and run best-of-three with the same teams.

Draft with a plan

Treat draft as your first teamfight and build a team that complements each other. A balanced draft makes late-game fights easier to play under pressure.

  • Ban heroes your team struggles against.
  • Pair a clean initiator with a steady Gold laner.

Try this: Draft Tigreal or Atlas to start fights, then back them up with Beatrix or Brody to clean up.

Play the early game around Turtle

The first Turtle objective sets the pace of MLBB matches and shapes your team’s coordinated movements. Turtle can give you an early game advantage, so planning for it early gives you structure.

  • Path your Jungler towards the first Turtle.
  • Rotate Mid and Roam to support the Turtle fight.

Try this: Call Jungler + Roam + Mid to Turtle at spawn while Gold lane plays safe.

Fight for objectives not kills

Teamfights should open the map not just the scoreboard, so converting wins into objectives makes your games cleaner and easier to close.

  • Take Turtle, Lord or towers after winning a fight.
  • Reset instead of chasing low-HP enemies.

Try this: After a teamfight near Lord, ping Attack Lord instead of chasing survivors.

Build a small hero pool

Having a small hero pool makes draft decisions faster and more confident.

  • Stick to three heroes for your main role.
  • Draft based on what your team needs, not just comfort.

Try this: If you roam, lock a small pool like Tigreal, Angela and Mathilda for the whole night.

Do a 60-second post-game review

Having short reflections can turn casual matches into real training sessions and it’s a habit that helps you fix mistakes without killing the vibe.

  • Call out one mistake and one good play.
  • Queue again with one improvement goal.

Try this: Ask after each game, “Did we lose our first Lord fight because of draft or positioning?”
