University of Delaware Office of Emergency Management has sent a broadcast message via the LiveSafe app:

DelDOT has announced the closure of the bridge on Rt.72 (Library Avenue) over the Amtrak railroad lines (north of Farm Lane) starting this Thursday, June 11th, for repairs to the bridge. The closure will be in effect for about eight weeks. Expect delays and detours on Rt. 72 during this time.
